Cash Chat Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cash Chat platform (“Cash Chat”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), including our social media and digital advertising services, affiliate programs, payment systems, and other services offered through the Cash Chat system. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Data Protection Policy, and any other applicable terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Cash Chat system.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up for or using Cash Chat, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you are at least 17 years of age. If you are a minor (under 17 years of age), you must have the permission of your guardian to use Cash Chat, and you will be subject to limitations on certain features of the app.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the following requirements to use Cash Chat:
- You are at least 17 years old (or have parental/guardian consent if you are under 17).
- You are a legal resident of a country where Cash Chat services are available.
- You provide accurate information during the registration process, including your name, email, country of residence, mobile number, and any other required information.
- You complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process by submitting your national ID and selfie for identity verification.
3. Account Registration
To access Cash Chat services, you must sign up by providing the required information, including:
- First name, last name, email, mobile number, country of residence, and sponsor code (if applicable).
- Create a username and password, which will be used for account access.
- Accept our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any other relevant policies.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your password and wallet PIN. Any activity conducted under your account is your responsibility.
4. Use of Cash Chat Services
Cash Chat offers a range of services, including:
- Social Media & Advertising: You can create an account to engage in social media activities and advertise products or services. Your account may be targeted by advertisers, and you can receive a share of advertising revenue based on impressions generated by your referrals.
- Affiliate Program: Cash Chat offers an affiliate program where you can refer new clients. Rewards are provided for successful referrals, with different rewards based on the client’s country of origin (Kenya, Uganda, or other countries).
- Wallet Services: Cash Chat offers a digital wallet that allows you to store funds, make payments for services (e.g., airtime, utilities), and withdraw money. Fees apply to certain wallet activities, including transfers and withdrawals.
- Payment Processing: You can use Cash Chat’s wallet to pay for goods and services, including advertisements on the Cash Chat network. Payments will be processed as per the terms set by Cash Chat and any third-party service providers.
5. Fees and Charges
Cash Chat charges certain fees for its services. These include, but are not limited to:
- Affiliate Program Fees: Fees related to rewards paid to users referring new clients (e.g., 1000 KES for referring a Kenyan user).
- Withdrawal Fees:
- A fee of 1000 UGX is charged for withdrawals below 15,000 UGX, and 1500 UGX for withdrawals above 15,000 UGX.
- A 3.5% fee is charged by MTN for wallet reloading.
- A 500 UGX fee applies for wallet-to-wallet transfers.
- Transaction Fees: Certain transaction activities, including wallet loading, withdrawal, or payment requests, may incur processing fees.
Please review the specific fees for your country and wallet activity as they may vary.
6. Affiliate Program
Cash Chat operates an affiliate program where users can earn rewards for referring new clients. The details of the affiliate program include:
- Referral rewards are paid immediately after the referred client subscribes to Cash Chat.
- Referral rewards differ based on the country of the referred client (Kenya, Uganda, or international).
- Cash Chat reserves the right to change the terms of the affiliate program, including reward structures, at any time.
7. Wallet Transactions
Cash Chat provides a wallet for users to send and receive funds. By using the wallet, you agree to:
- Wallet Loading: You can load your wallet through mobile money (e.g., MTN, Mpesa) or a pay bill system (Kenya only). A service fee may apply to wallet loading.
- Wallet Transfers: A 500 UGX fee applies to all wallet-to-wallet transfers, with no fee for USD transfers.
- Withdrawals: Withdrawals can be made to mobile money services like MTN (Uganda). The withdrawal process may take less than 10 minutes.
- Withdrawals in USD: Withdrawals in USD may be facilitated by Cash Chat agents, but each transaction must not exceed 200 USD. Test the wallet ID before approving any request from the agent’s section.
- Insurance: Cash Chat provides insurance for clients up to 200 USD in case of loss caused by agents. Agents are not insured for any losses incurred during their transactions and must collect funds from clients before making payments.
8. Security and Fraud Prevention
Cash Chat is committed to the security of your data and wallet. As part of our security measures:
- You must request a wallet PIN from a cybersecurity organization to complete any wallet transaction.
- Cash Chat adheres to PCI DSS standards for secure payment processing.
- Cash Chat monitors for suspicious activity and reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent activities.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account details and reporting any unauthorized access or suspicious activity immediately.
9. Know Your Customer (KYC) Requirements
All users must complete the KYC process by submitting their national ID and a selfie for identity verification. Once verified, this information cannot be changed. Failure to comply with KYC requirements may result in suspension or termination of your account.
10. Account Termination
You may delete your Cash Chat account by contacting support@cashchatapp.com. Upon account deletion, you will not be allowed to create a new account on Cash Chat.
Cash Chat reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activities, or fail to comply with the KYC process.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of Cash Chat is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using Cash Chat, you consent to the collection and processing of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cash Chat shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or any other damages.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of Uganda.
14. Changes to Terms
Cash Chat reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes to the Terms via email or through our platform. Your continued use of Cash Chat after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
